I want everyone to know our amazing news!!! I had a PET scan on Sept 10th and it show no evidence of disease!! It is a huge relief and an amazing blessing!! We received the results prior to our family vacation to Disneyland (pictures and post to follow). We had a wonderful time and feel so blessed to enjoy this healthy time! I can't express how grateful I am for health and energy. Not an hour goes by that I don't think about how blessed I have been and how nice it is to have life back to 'normal'. Thanks for your continued prayers!!
Love to you all!

Landon's 7th Birthday
We celebrated Landon's 7th birthday a little early because I started an experimental vaccine program in Seattle and we were gone on his actual birthday. It worked out great because Landon was able to have 3 days of being the birthday boy. Before leaving we had a "family birthday party" with brothers, parents, cousins, aunts, uncle, and Connor in attendence. Landon has been so excited to turn 7 because most of the tv shows he has been wanting to watch are rated Y7. In prepartion for his birthday he decided to tivo a couple of shows (... he definetly is a planner). One of the shows he is especially excited to watch is Ben 10, so he wanted me to make a Ben 10 cake.
Landon is a wonderful boy with lots of ideas and energy. He is an amazing helper and is super smart. He has the faith of an angel and prays for his mom every day. He loves to play soccer, baseball, basketball, and ride bikes. He is an excellent reader, but enjoys being read to even more. One of his favorite things is going on a date with his mom or dad all by himself. He loves slushies and cheese sandwiches. He can't wait for more teeth to fall out. He gives the best hugs and kisses. I love you my Landy Lou!

Highlights Summer 2009
It has been an incredibly long time since I blogged. I suppose I could try and come up with an excuse, but It would be too philosophical, so I won't. Here are some Highlights from our summer....
In June we had a Nieces' Weekend at Suzette's. We had a great time! We made crepes for dinner, practiced up on our tennis with Grandma, went swimming, and made braclets.
I also enjoyed a visit from Kristine and Missy and their families.
In July Bruce and I celebrated our 5th anniversary in Chicago. We went to The Field Museum, The Shedd Aquarium, The Science Museum, The Willis Tower (aka Sears Tower), The Planetarium, and Navy Pier. We also went on a dinner cruise and stopped by Midwestern University (where I got my master's degree). I was blessed with energy to enjoy the trip and a great travel companion. It was a wonderful get away!!
Sue and I took the boys on a field trip to the Tree House Museum.
At the end of July we spent the day in East Canyon with the Stanley family. We were able to do a Pioneer hike, swim, and play games.
At the beginning of August we had the Otto Family Reunion. We went swimming, played family wiffle ball, ran relay races, made cardboard box structures, roasted smores, put on skits, and hiked Stewart Falls. We had a great time, but also missed Rick and his family.
The first day of school came quickly. Landon is in 2nd grade and Xander is in daily morning pre-school.
