Rick is currently in Officer Training Camp for the Army as part of a military repayment program for medical school. I am so proud of him. He is a wonderful husband, brother, son and patriot. I love you and God bless!!

I figured that if no one else is going to comment, I better comment on this one. Judging by the number of comments you have gotten in the past it must be the content not the writing style that just doesn't excite people :)
I was just reading over your blog and thinking about how glad I am to have such a brave and wonderful sister. I love you a lot.
I have a son, Richard, studying to be a Doctor and a soldier, and a daughter, Jeanel, doing whatever it take to be a Cancer survivor. I am very proud of both of you, and I appreciate your examples of tenacity when facing the next hurdles in your life's challenges.
I can see God's wisdom in sending us to the earth as families, so we can help lift and carry each others burdens; and in so doing, we will be able to feel one another's: struggles and come to know more about their tests.
Jeanel, I have a son, Richard who is learning to be a soldier, and a daughter, Jeanel, who is a brave warrior,courageously fighting on the front lines for herself and for others who also have Cancer.
